FALL TRAVEL LEAGUE TRYOUTS!
August 20th, 4PM at the ball fields

New Automated Batting Cages are OPEN!

Schedule an intensive hour or half hour, one-on-one lesson between coach and player before or after practice.  It can be used to work out a player’s bad habits or as extra practice.  

Your son or daughter can have his/her very own baseball party at Danny Berry JCC baseball fields!  Play an hour of baseball, receive some gifts from Danny Berry, and eat and drink all the food you can!

Dads come out & play in Danny Berry’s JCC Men’s Softball League every Sunday from 8-12 P.M.!  Our league accommodates every skill level, so come on out and play some softball!

Did you know that Danny Berry has a flag football league?  Every Friday kids of all ages participate in flag football from 4-6 p.m.  Each child receives a jersey and a trophy at the end of the season.

This section will provide you with information about our travel teams, which are our competitive, but still positive hardball teams.  Here you can learn how we are doing in local tournaments and leagues. 

Baseball players, who are looking for more competitive games in a positive atmosphere, can tryout for our traveling teams.  Three teams by age group are available:

All teams:

bulletMeet three times a week.
bulletUse a regulation hard ball.
bulletAre coached by Danny Berry's professional staff.

      Anyone can try out for our travel team.  The decision ultimately lies with Danny and his coaches whether a child makes the team.  By no means are our coaches professional scouts and by no means are any of your children professional players.  

We would remind you all of the Michael Jordan story in which the greatest professional sports player of all time failed to make his own high school team.  If Michael Jordan would have given up following the day he was cut, the world would have never met greatness.  Do not give up, whether you find yourself on a team you were hoping to make or not.  Continue to practice and in the words of Michael Jordan himself, “I fail therefore, I succeed.”
